Mold Setter Moulding Defect & Process Support Job Description Who you are/: Safely install, align, secure, and disassemble molds and tools on production presses using cranes, elevators, forklifts, and hand tools. Connect and verify fluid lines water cooling, oil lines, pneumatic connections, hot runner electrical cables, and hydraulic rods according to the installation sheet. Define the initial operating parameters of the machine temperature, clamping pressure, ejector stroke, cycle time based on verified technological documentation. Perform pre/-dry testing, safety checks and initial sample analyzes to ensure proper mold clearance, knockout operation and sequence timing. During changeovers, perform minor preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication and inspection of mold cores, cavities, guide pins and shaft surfaces. Document mold replacement times, initial settings,



and report tool damage, wear, or alignment issues to the tool shop and maintenance crews. Maintain an organized mold storage area, adhere to 5S labor standards, and follow lockout/tagout and heavy lifting safety protocols.
