Job Summary:

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales operations within a defined geographic area. With 6 to 8 years of experience in the FMCG (Bakery) industry, the individual will lead a team to achieve sales targets, expand market presence, and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned area.

- Manage and motivate the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

- Identify growth opportunities by understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

- Build and maintain solid relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.

- Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and product launches.

- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and other internal departments to ensure smooth sales operations.





- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Conduct regular field visits to evaluate sales team performance and market conditions.

- Implement cost-effective plans to optimize distribution and increase market penetration.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelors degree, or a related field.

- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in sales within the FMCG sector, preferably managing teams.

- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, distribution channels, and market dynamics in FMCG.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends for strategic decision-making.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
