Key Responsibilities

Academic Delivery & Conceptual Teaching

- Cross-Discipline Instruction: Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across all three sciences: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Curriculum Alignment: Design and execute comprehensive weekly and monthly lesson plans in strict alignment with the ICSE curriculum.
- Practical Lab Learning: Plan, set up, and supervise practical experiments in the Science, ensuring safety protocols are followed for chemical handling, circuit building, and specimen study.
- Contemporary Pedagogy: Integrate smart board tools, digital simulations, 3D models, and real-world examples to simplify abstract scientific principles.

Student Evaluation & Mentorship

- Assessments: Design diverse testing materials including worksheets, regular quizzes, unit tests, and comprehensive term exams.
- Academic Analytics: Grade assignments promptly, track individual student progress metrics, and pinpoint conceptual gaps.
- Remedial Classes: Conduct targeted remedial and doubt-clearing sessions for students requiring additional academic support.
- Competitive Coaching: Mentor and prepare students for science Olympiads, NTSE, and school-level science talent exams.

Administrative & Co-curricular Duties

- Science Activities:



Lead and coordinate school science exhibitions, science club activities, eco-clubs, and environmental awareness campaigns.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain professional correspondence with parents through Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) regarding student behavior and academic trajectories.
- General Duties: Undertake general school responsibilities, including acting as a Class Teacher, managing substitution periods, and performing exam invigilation.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in professional development programs, board-led workshops, and peer-learning sessions to implement best teaching practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelors/Masters Degree in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Biology) alongside a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized university.
- Certification: Qualifying CTET or State TET is highly preferred.
- Experience: 25 years of teaching experience managing general science classes at the middle or high school level.
- Competencies: Strong subject matter expertise across all three domains, exceptional classroom control, active listening, and fluent English communication skills.
