Roles and Responsibilities

Dulhani Ethnic LLP is opening a large-format, four-floor women's and men's ethnic wear flagship in Kolhapur, and is hiring a Chief Store Manager to join before launch and lead the store as its senior on-floor leader. Reporting directly to the founders, you will own the responsibility of the store's sales, profitability, people and customer experience. Before launch, you will drive opening readiness: floor layout and visual merchandising rollout, fixture handover, stock receiving and tagging, hiring and training the floor team with HR, and planning the opening. Each day you will run the morning briefing and set section-wise targets, walk every floor to check stock, display, grooming and staffing, step in personally on high-value bridal sales and family groups, resolve escalations, approve discounts and exchanges within policy, track hourly sales against target, and close the day with cash reconciliation and a sales MIS to the founders. Every week and month you will review section performance, sell-through, ageing stock and staff productivity; feed size,



colour and price gaps back to Purchase; run stock audits and inter-floor transfers on the ERP; control shrinkage and store costs; manage rosters and incentives; and plan wedding-season and festive campaigns with Marketing. You will lead a team of floor managers, section heads, sales staff, cashiers, alterations, VM, housekeeping and security staff, and build a service culture where a 35 hour family bridal visit feels personal and well run. Experience in men's ethnic wear, bridal or saree retail is strongly preferred, and so is having handled a store with 30 Cr+ annual turnover or been part of a recent store launch. You should have hands-on command of retail ERP/POS systems and Excel MIS, fluent Marathi and Hindi with working English, and the energy to lead from the floor through peak seasons.

Preferred candidate profile

An experience of at least 5-10 years, including at least 3 years as Store Manager of a large-format or multi-floor store, ideally in ethnic, bridal or saree retail. They have managed a store with 30 Cr+ turnover and a team of 70+ people, and experience on a new store launch is a strong plus. They are comfortable with retail ERP/POS systems and Excel MIS, speak Marathi and Hindi fluently with working English, and lead from the floor through peak seasons. Candidates already in Kolhapur or western Maharashtra, or willing to relocate, are preferred.
