Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer / QA Tester with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in web application testing, functional and regression testing, REST API testing, SQL/database validation, and test automation.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform REST API testing using Postman and validate API responses and data.
- Perform database testing and data validation using SQL.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar automation tools.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to investigate and resolve defects.
- Perform retesting and regression testing for resolved issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint testing activities.
- Maintain test cases, test documentation, and testing reports.
- Track defects and testing activities using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools, technologies, and QA best practices.

Required Skills:





- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in web application testing.
- Good knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
- Experience in REST API Testing using Postman.
- Positive knowledge of SQL and Database Validation.
- Practical experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar automation tools.
- Strong defect analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required Qualifications:

- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience in web application testing and functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Practical experience in REST API testing using Postman and database validation using SQL.
- Practical experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, or similar automation tools.
- Experience in defect analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, Jira or similar defect-tracking tools, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in mobile application testing.
- Experience in Healthcare, EHR, medical billing, insurance, or healthcare IT applications.
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Experience with Git or other version-control tools.
- Knowledge of performance testing is an added advantage.
