Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance testing strategies including load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
- Develop complex performance scripts and scenarios simulating real-world workloads.
- Analyze system architecture to identify performance risks and optimization areas.
- Lead performance testing efforts and ensure system scalability and stability.
- Plan and execute baseline and trend tests in approved environments, and coordinate required test windows and monitoring access.
- Analyze results and produce performance findings (bottlenecks, thresholds, recommendations) in collaboration with engineering/ops teams.
- Review and maintain performance scripts and reports ensuring best practices.
- Produce, review and maintain test documentation and runbooks (execution steps, troubleshooting guides, and onboarding notes).
- Contribute to non-functional/performance testing activities as needed (e.g., building/maintaining initial k6/Gatling scripts under guidance).
- Continuously improving automation suite health (refactoring,
removing duplication, improving assertions, and optimizing execution time).
- Support sprint demos and provide visibility into automation progress, results, and coverage.
- Mentor team members on performance testing tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define SLAs and performance benchmarks.
