Operations Manager Order & Logistics

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and well-organized Operations Manager to manage day-to-day order processing and logistics operations. The candidate will be responsible for taking orders from customers over phone calls, coordinating with the internal team and logistics partners, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery, and resolving operational issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Receive and manage customer orders through phone calls and other communication channels.
- Understand customer requirements and accurately record order details.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/dispatch team for order processing and timely dispatch.
- Plan and coordinate logistics and deliveries with drivers, transporters, or logistics partners.
- Track orders from the time of booking until successful delivery.
- Follow up with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any changes.
- Coordinate with drivers/logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Handle and resolve delivery delays, missing items, incorrect orders, and other operational issues.
- Maintain proper records of orders, deliveries, pending orders,



and cancellations.
- Coordinate between customers, sales/order team, warehouse, and logistics teams.
- Monitor daily operations and ensure orders are completed within the required timelines.
- Prepare basic daily/weekly reports relating to orders, deliveries, pending orders, and operational issues.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the order and logistics process.
- Take responsibility for timely follow-up and closure of customer orders.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in operations, order management, logistics, customer coordination, or a similar role.
- Positive communication and telephone handling skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and logistics activities simultaneously.
- Good knowledge of Excel/MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent delivery requirements.
- Responsible, proactive, and good at problem-solving.
- Experience in coordinating with drivers, transporters, warehouses, or delivery partners will be an advantage.
