We are looking for a skilled Arabic Translator to translate written and/or verbal content between Arabic and English while maintaining accuracy, cultural relevance, tone, and context. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of both Arabic and English and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate documents, emails, reports, websites, and other content between Arabic and English.
- Ensure translations are accurate, clear, and culturally appropriate.
- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, spelling, terminology, and consistency.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and business-related information.
- Perform interpretation during meetings, calls, interviews, or other business interactions when required.
- Research industry-specific terminology and maintain consistent vocabulary.
- Coordinate with internal teams to clarify translation requirements and deadlines.
- Complete translation assignments within agreed timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Arabic, English, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
- Proven experience as an Arabic Translator or Interpreter.
- Strong grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills in both languages.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of translation tools (CAT tools) is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Native or near-native Arabic proficiency.
- Solid understanding of Arabic culture and regional language variations.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant translation software.
Experience
1–5 years of relevant translation/interpreting experience, depending on the seniority of the role.
