Senior QA Automation Engineer

- We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UI and API automation, a positive understanding of software testing methodologies, and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with Playwright is a good-to-have and will be an added advantage.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Develop and maintain automated API test suites using REST Assured.
- Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.
- Execute automated regression,



functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and other QA engineers to ensure product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing practices.
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation, automation standards, and framework best practices.
- Continuously improve test coverage, automation stability, and execution efficiency.
