Actuarial Modeling - MG Alpha/Prophet - 4+ Years - Gurgaon

An exciting opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional to work on Life Insurance Modelling, Valuation, Financial Reporting, Projection and Model Governance. The role offers exposure to complex life insurance products, modelling frameworks, reporting regimes and advanced actuarial modelling assignments.

Responsibilities -

1. Develop, maintain and validate life insurance actuarial models, with a focus on capital and asset-side modelling.
2. Perform model development, testing and validation while ensuring adherence to model governance standards.
3. Support actuarial valuation, projection, experience investigation and assumption-setting exercises.
4. Analyze model outputs and translate results into actionable business insights.
5. Support IFRS 17, Solvency, US GAAP and other actuarial financial reporting requirements.
6. Prepare long-term cash flow projections, profitability analysis and impact assessments for assumption changes and model updates.
7. Conduct model reviews, reconciliations and validation testing, including investigation of model discrepancies and recommending improvements.
8. Analyze model point data, assumptions and actuarial calculation methodologies.
9. Collaborate with actuarial, finance, risk and technology stakeholders to deliver high-quality modelling solutions.
10.



Support client engagements and communicate modelling results effectively to stakeholders.
11. Prepare technical documentation, presentations and management-level insights.

Requirements -

1. 47 years of experience in Actuarial Modelling within the Life Insurance industry.
2. Strong understanding of life insurance products, actuarial principles, cash flows and model controls.
3. Experience with MG-ALFA will be a significant advantage.
4. Knowledge of Prophet, AXIS or other actuarial modelling platforms will be beneficial.
5. Exposure to Python, VBA, SQL or other automation tools will be desirable.
6. Exposure to ALM Modelling, including asset-liability cash flow projections, interest rate risk, liquidity and duration management, and economic scenario testing, will be preferred.
7. Experience in Capital Modelling, including Economic Capital, risk-based capital frameworks, solvency assessment, scenario analysis and stress testing, will be preferred.
8. Exposure to US Life Insurance will be considered a significant advantage.
