KP Group is currently hiring for R&D; Lead Electrolyte | Battery Cell R&D; for Matar, Gujarat (near by Vadodara).

Key Responsibilities :-

- Lead electrolyte formulation, optimization and additive screening for Li-ion cell chemistries such as NMC/NCM, LFP, graphite and silicon-containing systems.
- Develop electrolyte systems for high-energy-density and fast-charging applications.
- Lead electrolyteelectrode/separator compatibility studies and investigate SEI/CEI formation and interfacial behavior.
- Plan and execute validation using coin cells,



pouch cells and multi-Ah engineering cells.
- Lead electrochemical characterization including EIS/DRT, CV, GITT, HPPC, DCIR/ACIR, cycle-life and temperature testing.
- Drive electrolyte-related failure analysis, degradation mechanism studies and root-cause investigations.
- Lead DOE, screening studies and statistical analysis for accelerated electrolyte development.
- Support electrolyte filling, injection, wetting and formation optimization.
- Drive technology transfer from laboratory R&D; to pilot and mass-production environments.
- Collaborate with Cell Design, Electrode R&D;, Cell Assembly, Process Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
- Work with electrolyte suppliers, analytical laboratories, research institutes and technology partners.

Required Skills:-

- 8-12 years of battery/electrochemical R&D; experience.
- Robust hands-on experience in Li-ion electrolyte formulation/development.
- Strong understanding of lithium salts, solvents, additives, SEI/CEI and electrolyteelectrode interactions.
- Experience with electrochemical characterization such as EIS, CV, GITT, HPPC.
- Experience in battery degradation and failure analysis.
- Exposure to GC/GC-MS, HPLC/UPLC, DSC, XPS, SEM/EDS or related analytical techniques is preferred.
- Experience with scale-up, pilot-line development or technology transfer will be an advantage.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.
