Position: Linux Kernel & Device Driver Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Kernel & Device Driver Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux Kernel development, device driver development, BSP customization, and embedded Linux systems. The role involves designing, developing, debugging, and optimizing low-level software components for cutting-edge embedded and networking platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Linux Kernel modules and device drivers.

Develop and customize Board Support Packages (BSP) for embedded Linux platforms.

Work on device drivers for peripherals such as GPIO, UART, I2C, SPI, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Audio, Camera, and Display.

Debug kernel, bootloader, and system-level issues using Linux debugging tools.

Port Linux Kernel across different hardware platforms and SoCs.





Required Skills:

Strong programming experience in C and Embedded C.

Hands-on experience in Linux Kernel Development and Device Driver Development.

Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel internals:

Positive understanding of ARM/ARM64 architecture.

Experience with BSP customization and board bring-up activities.

Experience with Git, Buildroot, Yocto, or OpenEmbedded.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Linux Networking Stack.

Exposure to U-Boot, Secure Boot, and Bootloader development.

Knowledge of RTOS concepts and Embedded Systems.

Experience working on Automotive, Networking, Telecom, Consumer Electronics, or Semiconductor products.

Exposure to Virtualization, Hypervisors, or Security frameworks is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems,MCA or related field.
