Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Datasphere / SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Developer to design, develop, and manage enterprise data products while enabling seamless integration between SAP Business Data Cloud and modern analytics platforms such as Databricks. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, data modeling, governance, security, and SAP Finance data domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and manage SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere environments.
- Configure and maintain Datasphere Spaces, Connections, Cloud Connector integration, and Transport Management.
- Develop, test, deploy, and publish Silver-layer data products.
- Build data models for Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Master Data, and Hierarchies.
- Implement data quality, reconciliation, validation, and monitoring frameworks.
- Configure security roles, Data Access Controls (DAC), governance policies, and RBAC.
- Enable zero-copy data sharing between SAP Datasphere and Databricks.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Support metadata management, governance, licensing, and operational activities.
- Optimize solution performance and provide production support.




- Ensure adherence to enterprise security and governance standards.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere.
- Experience configuring Spaces, Connections, Cloud Connector, and Transport Management.
- Expertise in SAP HANA SQL and data modeling.
- Solid functional knowledge of SAP FI, CO, Costing, CO-PA, and Master Data.
- Experience implementing Data Access Controls (DAC), governance, and security.
- Hands-on experience with data reconciliation and data quality frameworks.
- Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with Databricks.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, enterprise data architecture, and SAP BTP.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW.
- Experience with SAP RISE.
- Exposure to Snowflake, dbt, or Azure Data Services.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- SAP Datasphere and/or SAP BTP Certification is preferred.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
