Job Summary:

Orchids The International School is seeking a **passionate and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher** to join our agile academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mathematics instruction to students of **Classes 9, 11, and 12**, following the **CBSE curriculum**.The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Classroom Management:Maintain a safe, disciplined, engaging, and well-organized learning environment that encourages students to actively participate in Mathematics learning.

Teaching Methodologies:



Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including problem-solving activities, practical examples, technology integration, interactive discussions, and real-world applications to make Mathematics engaging and easy to understand.

Lesson Planning: Create and deliver structured, age-appropriate, and concept-oriented Mathematics lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum and school academic standards.

Subject Delivery: Teach Mathematics to Classes 9, 11, and 12, ensuring strong conceptual understanding and effective coverage of the prescribed syllabus.

Student Development: Develop students' mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.

Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct tests, assignments, examinations, and other assessments. Monitor student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.

Academic Support: Identify learning gaps and provide remedial teaching, additional support, and guidance to students wherever required.

Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers, academic coordinators, and school leadership to ensure effective curriculum delivery and a holistic learning experience for students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- 2-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience teaching Mathematics for Classes 9, 11, and 12
- Strong command of Mathematics and the CBSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust classroom management and student engagement skills.
