Position
Inventory-cum-Stock Executive / Store Executive
JOB DESCRIPTION
Experience: 36 years
Industry: HoReCa / FMCG / Distribution preferred
Location: Gazipur, East Delhi- Local / neighbourhood candidate preferred
Joining: Immediate
Reporting to: Management / Operations Head
Role Purpose
To ensure accurate, organised and timely management of a large-SKU inventory, from
receipt of goods to storage, picking, dispatch and stock reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inward, storage, movement and outward of stock.
- Maintain accurate SKU-wise inventory records.
- Ensure proper identification and location of every SKU.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages/reorder requirements.
- Coordinate with purchase, sales and dispatch teams.
- Ensure correct picking and packing against orders.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Identify stock discrepancies, damaged, expired, slow-moving and non-moving items.
- Maintain proper documentation for GRN, stock transfer, issue and dispatch.
- Ensure FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Track rapid-moving and critical SKUs.
- Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
- Maintain warehouse discipline and proper storage practices.
- Immediately escalate stock discrepancies or operational issues to management.
KRA – KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Stock Accuracy
Maintain high accuracy between physical stock and system/book stock.
2. SKU Management
Ensure every SKU has:
- Correct identification
- Defined storage location
- Correct quantity
- Proper movement records
3. Inward Management
Ensure all incoming material is:
- Counted
- Checked
- Recorded
- Properly stored
4. Outward / Order Picking
Ensure the right product and right quantity are picked against every order.
5. Inventory Availability
Regularly identify:
- Stock-outs
- Low-stock items
- Critical SKUs
- Excess stock
- Slow/non-moving stock
6. Physical Stock Verification
Conduct scheduled cycle counts and investigate discrepancies rather than simply adjusting
the numbers.
7. Warehouse Organisation
Maintain proper SKU-wise arrangement, labelling, accessibility and housekeeping.
8. Stock Ageing & Movement
Regularly report slow-moving and ageing inventory and bring such items to management's
attention.
9. Coordination
Ensure smooth coordination between:
Sales Purchase Store Dispatch
so that orders are not delayed because of poor stock information.
10. MIS & Reporting
Provide timely and accurate inventory information to management for purchasing and sales
decisions.

INDICATORS
1. Stock Accuracy %
Physical stock vs system/book stock
2. Inventory Variance %
Value/quantity of discrepancies identified during stock checks
3. Order Picking Accuracy %
Correct SKU + correct quantity dispatched
4. Stock-out Frequency
Number of occasions important SKUs were unavailable when required
5. Inventory Record Update Time
Time taken to update inward/outward transactions
6. Inward Processing Time
Time from receipt of goods to proper recording and storage
7. Slow/Non-Moving Stock %
Value of slow/non-moving inventory as a percentage of total inventory
8. Dispatch Readiness %
Orders ready for dispatch within the committed timeline
9. Physical Stock Verification Compliance %
Planned stock checks actually completed
10. Inventory Damage/Wastage %
Stock lost due to damage, mishandling, expiry or poor storage
