About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Destination Manager Europe & New Zealand to lead destination development, student recruitment, application processing, and business development activities for Europe and New Zealand.

The role will be responsible for developing relationships with universities and colleges, building an agent network, supporting student counselling, and driving applications and enrolments.

Key Responsibilities

Destination & Student Counselling

- Provide expert guidance on study options, institutions, courses, entry requirements, fees, scholarships and intakes.
- Support counsellors with complex student profiles and destination-related queries.
- Ensure students receive accurate and suitable study pathway advice.

Application & Admissions

- Oversee end-to-end application processing, from document collection to offer and enrolment.
- Review applications for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
- Liaise with universities and colleges regarding applications and admissions.
- Monitor application pipelines, offers and enrolments.

Business Development & Institutional Partnerships

- Identify and establish relationships with universities, colleges and education providers across Europe and Recent Zealand.
- Negotiate and coordinate institutional/college/university agreements and contracts.




- Develop new institutional partnerships and expand APG's destination portfolio.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing education providers.
- Represent APG at institutional meetings, education fairs, workshops and industry events.

Agent Network Development

- Identify, onboard and develop education agents and recruitment partners.
- Build and maintain a strong network of agents across relevant markets.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements and partnership terms with agents.
- Conduct agent training, product updates and destination presentations.
- Monitor agent performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Business Growth & Reporting

- Develop and implement strategies to increase applications and enrolments for Europe and New Zealand.
- Identify new market and business development opportunities.
- Monitor destination-wise targets, conversion rates and revenue.
- Prepare regular reports on applications, enrolments, institutional partnerships and agent performance.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in overseas education, student recruitment or business development.
- Strong knowledge of Europe and New Zealand education markets.
- Proven experience in student counselling and application processing.
- Experience developing relationships with universities, colleges and education agents.
- Experience in negotiating and managing institutional or agent agreements.
- Strong business development, networking and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with a results-oriented approach.
