Business Analyst Oracle Fusion Financials (Offshore)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Oracle Fusion Financials expertise to support implementation of the Oracle Fusion platform, with a primary focus on the Oracle Financials module.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, particularly Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and accounting processes. This individual will work closely with business owners and project stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify process gaps and opportunities, and support the successful implementation of Oracle Fusion.

The candidate should be a self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent business communication abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the implementation of the Oracle Fusion Financials platform.
- Provide strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, with particular emphasis on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and accounting processes.
- Work closely with business owners and stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and objectives.
- Analyze current business processes and identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and potential solutions.
- Translate business requirements into explicit and actionable functional requirements.
- Support business process analysis, documentation, and modeling related to Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.




- Support data analysis and validation activities as required for the Oracle Fusion implementation.
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Participate in discussions related to process design, solution alignment, and implementation decisions.
- Support testing, issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and provide timely updates on progress, issues, and action items.
- Work effectively with offshore and distributed teams to support project delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise application implementations.
- Deep hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials functional expertise.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Strong accounting and financial business process experience.
- Experience working directly with business owners and functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of business requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently identify gaps, opportunities, and potential improvements.




- Ability to proactively communicate issues, risks, and recommendations.
- Experience with process modeling and data analysis tools.
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.

- Experience with Oracle Fusion implementation projects.
- Experience supporting Oracle Financials transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes.
- Experience working in a distributed offshore/onshore delivery model.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business, functional, technical, and project teams.

Communication & Work Hours

- The resource must be available to support collaboration with the U.S. team.
- Availability till 2:00 PM CST is preferred, if possible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required due to the high level of interaction with business owners and project stakeholders.
