Automation Lead Roles and Responsibilities

Location : Crestech Office,Noida

Experience: 6–8 years

Core skills: Selenium, Playwright, Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, and Generative AI

The Automation Lead will own test automation strategy, framework development, and execution for Adobe products and workflows.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium with Java and Playwright with JavaScript.
- Plan and deliver smoke, regression, and end-to-end automation coverage.
- Develop reusable components, review code, and guide engineers on automation standards.
- Integrate automated tests with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and use Docker for consistent execution.
- Apply Generative AI to accelerate test case creation, script development, and failure analysis, with appropriate review of generated output.
- Investigate failures, improve test stability,



and report coverage, results, and risks to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with functional QA, development, and DevOps teams to support release readiness.
- Mentor automation engineers and manage delivery against agreed priorities and timelines.

Required experience

- 6–8 years of hands-on test automation experience, including technical leadership.
- Robust experience with Selenium, Playwright, Java, and JavaScript.
- Experience working on Adobe products or within the Adobe ecosystem.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and Agile delivery.

Practical experience using Generative AI tools in test design, automation development, or test analysis
