The Head of Plant Design & Manufacturing for a 500 TPD (Tons per Day) Biogas, Bio-CNG, and MRF (Material Recovery Facility) plant is a senior leadership role responsible for the end to-end engineering, technology integration, and fabrication of large-scale waste-to-energy and recycling infrastructure.

Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Head of Plant Design & Manufacturing to lead the engineering, technological design, and manufacturing operations for our upcoming 500, TPD integrated solid waste management facility. This role encompasses supervising the complete design lifecycle covering Material Recovery Facilities (MRF), anaerobic digestion (Biogas), gas purification (Bio-CNG), and organic fertilizer production as well as managing the internal or partner-led fabrication and manufacturing of core plant machinery.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Education

Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, or Environmental Engineering from a premier institution. Skilled certifications in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma are highly advantageous.

Experience 15 to 20+ years of total experience in heavy engineering, EPC, or manufacturing sectors. Minimum 10–15 years in a leadership role specifically managing large-scale Biogas, Bio-CNG, Waste-to-Energy, or large material handling/MRF setups. Proven record of accomplishment of successfully executing at least one integrated waste-to energy project with a capacity exceeding 200+ TPD
