Sunrise Naturals Private Limited is an established fruit processing and export company with over 25 years of industry experience and customers across 60+ countries. The company is engaged in fruit procurement, processing, packing and export of fruit pulps, purees and concentrates, with manufacturing operations in Tamil Nadu and corporate operations in Mumbai.

Role Overview

The Costing Manager / Head of Costing will independently own the complete costing and profitability function. The role will work directly with the Managing Director and will be responsible for product costing, pricing analysis, export costing, inventory profitability, variance analysis, budgeting and management MIS.

The candidate must be able to independently build complete costing models from a blank Excel workbook without depending on pre-built templates or systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end product costing from raw fruit procurement through processing, packing and dispatch.

- Prepare product-wise, pack-wise and batch-wise costing sheets.

- Develop dynamic costing models based on raw material prices, yield, conversion costs, packing, freight, forex and financing costs.

- Prepare export price calculations for Ex-Works, FOB, CIF and CFR.

- Maintain pricing and costing assumptions and compare standard costing with actual execution.

- Analyse raw material cost, yield, conversion cost,



packing cost, logistics, labour and overhead variances.

- Advise senior management on purchase rates, selling prices, profitability and inventory liquidation decisions.

- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis for pricing and procurement decisions.

- Monitor inventory ageing, holding costs and shelf life and coordinate with Sales for stock liquidation.

- Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, budgets and profitability analysis.

- Handle costing-related audits and ensure accuracy of costing data.

- Manage and maintain costing modules in ERP; Udyog ERP experience preferred.

- Lead, train and review the work of the junior costing executive.

- Use Excel, AI tools and analytical tools to improve costing accuracy, reconciliation and scenario modelling.

Candidate Profile

- Qualified CMA / ICWA with 10+ years of relevant experience.

- Minimum 7 years post-CMA qualification in Costing / Commercial Finance / Management Accounting.

- Manufacturing costing experience is mandatory.

- Strong hands-on experience in product costing and profitability analysis.

- Must be capable of building complete costing sheets and models independently from scratch.

- Strong understanding of raw material costing, yield, conversion, packing, freight, finance cost and overhead allocation.

- Experience in export costing and Incoterms such as Ex-Works, FOB, CIF and CFR will be an advantage.

- Experience in seasonal or agri-based industries such as food processing, fruit, vegetable, edible oil, sugar, spices, dairy, seafood, rice, tea or similar industries is preferred.

- Robust exposure to inventory costing, stock ageing and liquidation analysis.

- Experience working directly with promoters, MDs or senior management.

- Experience managing or mentoring junior costing team members.
