Role & responsibilities

- Assist in the operation, inspection, and maintenance of electrical equipment in the thermal power plant.
- Monitor electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, generators, switchgear, MCCs, control panels, and circuit breakers.
- Perform routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions such as overheating, unusual noise, vibration, or electrical faults.
- Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Take and record electrical parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and temperature.
- Assist with motor and pump maintenance, cable inspection, and electrical panel maintenance.
- Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), electrical safety, PPE, and plant safety procedures.




- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams during equipment start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations.
- Maintain daily equipment logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults and restoring equipment safely.
- Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained in the electrical work area.

Preferred candidate profile

0- 1 Yrs ,B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (DEEE)
