Job Summary

The AWS Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for designing implementing administering and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability security scalability and operational excellence. The role requires handson expertise in AWS services automation monitoring security and incident management while supporting businesscritical applications and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Administer and manage AWS environments including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EBS, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling and Load Balancers.
- Configure and maintain highly available and fault-tolerant cloud solutions.
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure optimization.
- Security Compliance: Implement AWS security best practices and governance controls.
- Manage IAM policies, roles, permissions and MFA.
- Monitor security events and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Automation: Infrastructure as Code IaC Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code IaC solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Automate provisioning,



deployment and configuration management.
- Create and maintain scripts using Python, PowerShell or Shell scripting.
- Monitoring and Incident Management: Monitor system health using CloudWatch and related monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking and application-related issues.
- Participate in Major Incident P1/P2 handling and Root Cause Analysis RCA.
- Implement proactive monitoring and performance improvements.
- Networking: Manage VPCs, VPNs, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, Transit Gateway and Load Balancers.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, DNS, hybrid-cloud and routing issues.
- Support secure integrations between on-premises and AWS environments.

Requirements

- Experience: 5 to 8 years.
