Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Land Acquisition Expert with 715 years of relevant experience in land acquisition for infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete land acquisition process, coordinating with landowners, government authorities, consultants, and project teams, and ensuring timely completion of acquisition activities.
Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor the end-to-end land acquisition process for infrastructure projects.
- Conduct land and property-related investigations and verify ownership and title records.
- Coordinate with landowners, government departments, revenue authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Handle land records, survey details, ownership documents, mutation records, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with survey teams for land identification, boundary verification, and preparation of land plans.
- Prepare and maintain land acquisition status reports, databases, and project-wise documentation.
- Identify land acquisition issues, ownership disputes, encumbrances, and other legal or technical constraints.
- Coordinate with legal teams regarding land-related disputes, claims, notices, and documentation.
- Assist in negotiations with landowners and other stakeholders wherever required.
- Monitor compensation, awards, possession, and other acquisition-related activities.




- Ensure timely completion of land acquisition activities as per project schedules and applicable procedures.
- Prepare regular progress reports and highlight delays, risks, and pending issues to management.
- Coordinate with engineering, survey, design, and project management teams for land-related requirements.
- Maintain proper records of all correspondence, approvals, agreements, and acquisition documents.

Required Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Management, Geography, Law, or a related field.
- Additional qualification in Land Acquisition, Real Estate, Infrastructure, or Legal/Revenue matters will be an advantage.

Experience

- 715 years of relevant experience in land acquisition, preferably in:
- Railway projects
- Highways
- Road projects
- Infrastructure projects
- Government projects
- Large-scale land acquisition assignments

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of land acquisition procedures and documentation.
- Good understanding of land records, ownership/title verification, and revenue documents.
- Robust coordination and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle landowners and government authorities professionally.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and preparation of project reports.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple land acquisition activities.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
