Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - HR Compliance
Location: Andhra Pradesh (Project Site Based)
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: HRBP / Regional HR Compliance Manager
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced HR Compliance professional to manage end-to-end statutory compliances, HR operations, time office management, labor law adherence, and industrial relations activities across project sites. The ideal candidate should possess robust knowledge of labor legislation, workforce compliance management, contractor compliance audits, and employee relations, particularly in project-based environments.
Experience
7-12 Years of Relevant Experience

Educational Qualification
- MBA (HR) / MSW (HR)
- LLB will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
HR Compliance & Statutory Management
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable Central and State labor laws.
- Manage statutory compliances related to:
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
- EPF
- ESI
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Shops & Establishment Act
- Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act
- Industrial Disputes Act
- Factories Act (where applicable)
- Liaise with government authorities, labor departments, PF, ESI, and statutory inspectors.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, returns, and licenses.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits across project locations.
Contractor Compliance Management
- Verify and monitor contractor statutory compliances.
- Review contractor wage registers, attendance, PF/ESIC challans,
and labor licenses.
- Ensure legal compliance before contractor bill certification.
- Conduct contractor compliance reviews and risk assessments.
HR Operations & Time Office Management
- Manage employee attendance, shift rosters, leave records, and manpower deployment.
- Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs and payroll compliance.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and separations.
Industrial Relations (IR)
- Support site-level IR activities and employee grievance handling.
- Coordinate with employees, unions, contractors, and local stakeholders.
- Assist management during labor inspections, disputes, and conciliations.
- Promote harmonious employee relations at project sites.
Project Site HR Management
- Handle end-to-end HR activities at project locations.
- Coordinate workforce mobilization and deployment.
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies and statutory requirements.
- Support administration and welfare initiatives at project sites.
Socio-Economic & Local Community Engagement
- Develop understanding of local socio-economic conditions and workforce demographics.
- Build positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
- Support local hiring initiatives wherever required.

- Experience in workforce administration and HR operations.
- Sound knowledge of payroll inputs and time office functions.
- Exposure to Industrial Relations and labor dispute handling.

- Prior experience working in Andhra Pradesh / Visakhapatnam (Vizag) region.
- Understanding of local labor ecosystem, socio-economic conditions, and industrial relations environment in the region will be preferred.
