Role & responsibilities
Manage procurement of MMS steel, Solar Tracker systems, structural steel,GI/HDG/Galvalume/ZAM materials and related components.
Handle the complete procurement cycle from PR/RFQ to commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO placement and delivery follow-up.
Develop and maintain a robust vendor base for steel and MMS and solar Tracker suppliers.
Track HRC, Zinc, Galvalume, steel plate and other relevant commodity price movements and provide inputs for procurement.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, Finance, Stores and Logistics for procurement and delivery requirements.
Monitor PO execution, production status, inspections, dispatches and material deliveries.

Preferred candidate profile
3 to 5 years of relevant core procurement experience, preferably in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy.
Hands-on experience in MMS / Tracker systems procurement only.
Robust knowledge of steel procurement, HRC, structural steel, Galvalume, HDG/GI and ZAM.
Working knowledge of SAP/ERP and MS Excel.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical or MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Procurement will be preferred.
