Role & responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of components and finished products.
Check dimensions and quality of tools/components
Use measuring instruments such as:
Vernier Caliper
Micrometer
Height Gauge
Gauges and other inspection instruments
Identify defects, dimensional deviations, surface defects and other quality issues.
Segregate rejected/non-conforming components and report them to the senior/Quality Engineer.
Maintain daily inspection reports, rejection reports and quality records.
Coordinate with the Production and Engineering departments for quality-related issues.
Assist senior Quality Engineers in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.




Check and maintain proper handling of measuring instruments and support calibration activities.
Follow company quality procedures, safety rules, 5S and shop-floor discipline.
Support continuous improvement and reduction of rejection/rework.

Preferred candidate profile
Basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
Basic knowledge of Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
Valuable observation and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of documentation.
Valuable communication and teamwork.
Willingness to learn and work on the manufacturing
