Role & responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill pediatric cardiac patients.
Provide peri-operative care for congenital and acquired heart disease patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, inotropic support, ECMO, VAD, and other advanced life-support therapies.
Interpret hemodynamic monitoring, echocardiography findings, laboratory investigations, and imaging studies.
Lead emergency resuscitation and code blue responses within the PCICU.
Develop evidence-based treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
Coordinate secure patient transfers and referrals when required.

Preferred candidate profile
MD / DNB Pediatrics
DM / DrNB Pediatric Critical Care Medicine or
DM / DrNB Pediatric Cardiology with exposure to Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care or
Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care / Pediatric Critical Care preferred
Valid State Medical Council Registration
