Conveyor Tech Solutions is hiring an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for an in office role at our Bangalore manufacturing facility. We are looking for a qualified with around 5 years of experience in designing custom conveyors and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design 3D models, large assemblies, and fabrication drawings for conveyors using SolidWorks.
• Select and integrate components like gearmotors, bearings, rollers, and belts.
• Perform material calculations and generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Conduct product costing analysis (steel, gearmotors, bearings, belts, and labor) to optimize manufacturing costs.




• Collaborate directly with the shop floor and procurement teams to guide designs through fabrication.

Qualifications:
• Experience: ~5 years in a manufacturing setup designing conveyor systems or material handling equipment.
• Software: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Technical Skills: Robust knowledge of structural steel fabrication (MS/SS), sheet metal, and component sizing.
• Commercial Insight: Proven capability in estimating material weights, specialized component pricing (like belts and motors), and total production costs.
