DESCRIPTION:
Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Systems Administration Associate III and contribute to global health outcomes through our clinical research services. In this role, you'll provide implementation, operational, and maintenance support for enterprise software applications, ensuring a secure systems workplace with optimal performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include supporting analytical software,
dedicated hardware, and server-based laboratory applications. You'll resolve application issues, execute change requests, maintain system documentation, and collaborate with colleagues to address technical challenges. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovations while supporting our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 years of experience in systems administration or equivalent combination of education and training
• Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science or related field
• Technical certification may be required
• Proficiency with server administration and architecture (Windows Server, Linux)
• Knowledge of relational database concepts
• Experience with desktop operating systems and productivity applications (MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio)
