QC Executive – Hardware

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose

To inspect, test and evaluate faulty/returned hardware received from the Returns team and determine

whether the material is working, repairable, or not suitable for further use, based on defined quality-check

parameters.

Key Responsibilities

 Receive faulty/returned hardware for quality checking.

 Perform physical inspection and functional testing of hardware.

 Conduct quality checks as per the prescribed qualitative checklist/forms.

 Identify the reason for failure or fault wherever possible.

 Repair/rework hardware wherever repairable.

 Clearly mark the status of each item as Working / Repaired / Not Working / Beyond Repair, as

applicable.

 Maintain daily records of material received, tested, repaired and rejected.

 Coordinate with Stores/Returns/Sales for movement of material after QC.

 Ensure proper documentation of QC observations and test results.





 Escalate recurring hardware issues or quality concerns to the concerned team.

 Maintain discipline in handling and testing of company/client hardware.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 Number of hardware items tested per day.

 Number of hardware items repaired/recovered per day.

 QC turnaround time.

 Accuracy of QC judgment and documentation.

 Percentage of items successfully recovered/repaired.

Basic Requirements

 Diploma/ITI/Graduate with technical/hardware knowledge.

 Basic understanding of electronic/IT hardware – CCTV, IAS, FAS, IOT devices, Occupancy devices.

 Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.

 Positive documentation and Excel skills.

 2 years of experience in hardware testing, repair or QC would be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
