OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and be proficient in Tally.

Key responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally.
Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries accurately.
Maintain ledgers, cash book, and general accounting records.
Ensure proper bookkeeping and compliance with company procedures.

Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process vendor invoices and customer payments.
Prepare payment vouchers and maintain vendor records.
Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
Follow up on outstanding receivables when required.

Bank & Financial Reconciliation
Perform regular bank reconciliations.
Reconcile ledger balances and identify discrepancies.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.

GST & Compliance Support
Maintain GST records and assist in GST return preparation.
Organise invoices, vouchers, and statutory documents.




Support auditors during internal and statutory audits.

Administrative & MIS Support
Prepare basic MIS reports and accounting summaries.
Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial documentation.
Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
Positive knowledge of basic accounting principles, MS Excel, and MS Office.
Hands-on experience with Tally Prime/Tally ERP.
Basic understanding of GST and bank reconciliation.
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Good organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Khar Colony, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
