Job Description – Computer Lab Assistant / Lab Technician

Designation: Computer Lab Assistant / Lab Technician

Department: Computer Lab / Academic Department

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Salary: As per university norms

Reporting To: Lab In-charge / HOD

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day operation and management of the computer laboratory.
Ensure computers, systems, peripherals, and other lab equipment are properly maintained.
Provide technical assistance to students and faculty during lab sessions.
Install and configure software as required.
Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
Maintain records of computer systems, equipment, and lab-related activities.
Ensure proper functioning and availability of systems before practical sessions.
Follow university guidelines for lab safety, security, and equipment usage.
Coordinate with the IT/technical team for technical issues requiring further support.





Candidate Profile

Qualification: Graduate / ITI / Diploma in relevant technical or computer-related field.

Experience: Candidates with prior experience handling or managing a computer laboratory will be preferred.

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
