Key Responsibilities
Manage overall HR & IR activities for the steel plant.
Handle industrial relations, union management, grievances, disciplinary matters and settlements.
Lead manpower planning, recruitment, deployment and workforce productivity.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
Manage performance appraisal, training, employee engagement and retention.
Oversee contract labour management and contractor compliance.
Monitor HR costs, manpower budgets, absenteeism and productivity.
Provide HR support to plant leadership and drive HR policies and initiatives.

Candidate Profile
Solid experience in plant HR and industrial relations, preferably in steel, metals, mining or heavy manufacturing.
Proven experience in managing large workforces and unionized settings.
Solid negotiation, communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
