Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop current vendors for raw materials, components, consumables and production requirements.
Handle vendor sourcing, evaluation and development as per company requirements.
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement.
Coordinate with vendors for material availability, delivery schedules and quality requirements.
Follow up on pending orders to ensure uninterrupted production.
Negotiate with suppliers regarding price, payment terms, delivery and commercial conditions.
Compare quotations and conduct cost analysis for purchase decisions.
Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Stores and Accounts for material requirements.
Maintain purchase records, vendor data, quotations, POs and procurement reports.
Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost and delivery.
Support cost reduction and alternate vendor development initiatives.
Resolve issues related to material shortages, delayed deliveries and supplier discrepancies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
