Handle day-to-day production activities in the pump manufacturing unit.
Supervise pump assembly, machining and production operations.
Ensure production work is completed as per the production schedule and targets.
Handle and monitor machines such as CNC, VMC, Lathe and Drilling machines.
Should have positive knowledge of CNC, VMC, Lathe and Drilling operations.
Ensure proper use and handling of raw materials and components such as SS 304, SS 316, castings, shafts, impellers and other pump components.
Check production quality and ensure components are manufactured as per drawings and specifications.
Handle manpower, allocate work and monitor operators/helpers.
Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Quality and Maintenance for smooth production.
Maintain production records and report daily production status to management.
Ensure proper safety,



discipline and housekeeping on the shop floor.

Requirements:
ITI / Diploma / Mechanical qualification preferred.
2–5 years of experience in Pump Manufacturing / Engineering Manufacturing Industry.
Positive knowledge of pump assembly and manufacturing processes.
Good manpower handling and shop-floor management skills.
Knowledge of machining and production processes.
Candidates with experience in centrifugal pump manufacturing will be preferred.
