A Furniture Showroom Manager oversees daily floor operations, leads retail or design sales teams, and maintains visual merchandising to drive revenue and deliver a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue: Drive monthly and annual sales targets, manage high-value transactions, and close complex client or interior designer orders.
Team Leadership: Hire, train, mentor, and schedule floor sales consultants, cashiers, and customer service staff.
Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring layout of sofas, dining sets, bedrooms, and home decor vignettes.
Inventory & Logistics: Monitor stock levels, track orders with factories or vendors, and coordinate warehouse deliveries and home installations.
Customer Relations: Handle escalated complaints, build long-term rapport with architects, HNI (High-Net-Worth Individual) clients, or corporate buyers, and ensure high satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 3 to 7+ years of retail, lifestyle, or showroom management experience,



specifically within the furniture or interior design industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field (preferred).
Core Skills:
Robust leadership and staff coaching
Deep product knowledge of furniture materials (e.g., solid woods, upholstery, finishes)
Basic financial reporting and inventory tracking
Robust negotiation and client persuasion abilities
Communication: Fluency in English and local languages (such as Malayalam in Kerala regions).

Typical Working Workplace & Metrics
Work Schedule: Full time, typically involving retail hours (including weekends and holidays).
Performance KPIs: Total showroom revenue vs. targets, conversion rates, average transaction value, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction scores.
