Job Responsibilities
Set and operate VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines.
Read and understand engineering drawings and work instructions.
Perform machine setting, tool setting and workpiece loading/unloading.
Select and set appropriate cutting tools, holders and fixtures.
Set work offsets, tool offsets and machine parameters.
Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, etc.
Monitor machining operations and maintain required quality standards.
Make minor offset corrections based on inspection results.
Identify machine/tool-related issues and inform the supervisor when required.
Maintain production targets and follow safety procedures.
Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.





Required Skills
Good knowledge of VMC machine operation and setting.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures and work offsets.
Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and G-code/M-code is an advantage.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Positive understanding of machining processes and quality requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
