Job Description – Purchase & Stores Executive

Industry: Diesel Generator Manufacturing
Location: Bhopal / Mandideep
Experience: 3–7 years in Purchase, Procurement & Stores

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement of materials required for DG manufacturing, service, and operations.
Understand material requirements, BOMs, specifications, and coordinate with Production, Stores, Service, Design & Accounts.
Source vendors, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and release Purchase Orders.
Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
Manage Stores & Inventory, including inward/GRN, stock levels, material issue, stock reconciliation, and physical verification.
Monitor minimum/maximum stock, reorder levels, shortages, excess, and slow-moving inventory.
Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, pending order reports, stock reports, and other MIS.
Develop and manage vendor relationships and ensure quality, cost, and timely availability of materials.




Ensure uninterrupted material availability for production and avoid production delays.

Material Knowledge

Knowledge of DG/industrial components, engine & alternator parts, electrical components, cables, panels, sheet metal, fabrication items, fasteners, batteries, filters, hoses, lubricants, hardware and consumables will be preferred.
