About the Role

SmartFin CFO, associated with Bada Business by Dr. Vivek Bindra, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, accounting, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Record sales, purchase, receipt, payment and journal entries.
Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist in GST and TDS compliance and related documentation.
Prepare invoices and maintain proper accounting records.
Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.
Prepare MIS reports and other finance-related reports.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.




Coordinate with internal teams, clients and vendors for accounting-related matters.
Support audit and other statutory requirements.

Required Skills
2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Bachelor's degree in B.Com / M.Com / Finance / Accounting or equivalent.
Robust knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
Knowledge of GST and TDS.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Experience in ledger and bank reconciliation.
Valuable analytical and numerical skills.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in CA firms, accounting firms, finance companies, or business advisory firms will be preferred.
