Set up and operate VMC machines for job/batch production as per drawings and process sheets
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; symbols, and work instructions
Select, load, and align appropriate cutting tools and fixtures
Set work offsets, tool offsets, and verify program parameters before running production
Load/edit existing CNC programs (G-code/M-code) for minor corrections when required
Monitor the machining process, coolant flow, and tool wear during operation
Perform first-piece and in-process inspection using Vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges, dial/plug gauges, etc.
Identify and report deviations, tool breakage, or quality issues promptly
Carry out routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping of the machine and work area
Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and shift handover reports
Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements,



and 5S standards on the shop floor
Coordinate with programmers, quality inspectors, and supervisors on process improvements or non-conformances

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong working knowledge of VMC operations (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas controllers)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;
Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and coolant selection
Basic CNC program editing and offset-setting skills
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
Robust attention to detail and quality-first mind-set
Ability to work in rotational shifts and stand for extended periods

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
