Business Development Executive – Solar Project Sales

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive with experience in solar project sales to generate business opportunities, develop client relationships, and drive solar project bookings across the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads and identify potential customers for solar projects.
Develop business opportunities in industrial, commercial and institutional segments.
Conduct field visits, customer meetings and site visits.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate technical and commercial proposals.
Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and follow-ups to negotiation and order closure.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, channel partners and EPC stakeholders.
Track the sales pipeline and achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Monitor market trends,



competitor activities and new business opportunities.

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in solar project sales / Solar EPC sales.
Experience in B2B sales, rooftop solar or commercial and industrial solar projects.
Strong lead-generation, negotiation and client-handling skills.
Valuable communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.
Knowledge of solar project components, pricing and commercial proposals is preferred.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy or a related field. MBA in Sales/Marketing is an advantage.
