The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with vendors and OEMs to obtain pricing, preparing competitive quotations, and supporting the sales team in closing business prospects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & OEM Coordination
Contact vendors, distributors, and OEMs for product pricing, availability, and technical specifications
Negotiate pricing, discounts, and delivery timelines
Maintain solid relationships with OEM partners and suppliers
Compare multiple vendor quotes to ensure best price and margin
Pricing & Quotation Management
Prepare and share accurate quotations based on vendor inputs
Ensure pricing aligns with company margin policies
Update pricing sheets and maintain a centralized cost database
Follow up with vendors for revised quotes, special pricing, or deal registrations
Sales Support
Assist sales team in preparing proposals and BOQs (Bill of Quantity)
Coordinate with pre-sales/technical team for solution inputs
Provide quick turnaround on pricing requests to support sales closures
Track enquiry-to-quote conversion status
Order Processing & Follow-up
Coordinate with vendors for order confirmation and delivery schedules
Ensure timely dispatch and documentation
Track pending orders and update internal stakeholders
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain records of vendor quotations, comparisons, and approvals
Generate daily/weekly reports on enquiries, quotations, and closures
Keep proper documentation for audit and reference
Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of IT hardware/networking products (preferred)
Positive in MS Excel (pricing sheets, comparisons)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Coordination and follow-up skills
Preferred Experience
1–3 years in sales coordination / procurement / vendor management
Experience dealing with OEMs like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco, etc. (added advantage)
