JOB DESCRIPTION – WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR

Job Purpose

To supervise the day-to-day workshop activities, ensure effective job allocation and timely completion of repairs, maintain service quality, and support technicians in delivering work as per manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of technicians and workshop staff.
Allocate repair and maintenance jobs to technicians based on skill and workload.
Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Assist technicians in diagnosis, troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
Ensure repairs are carried out as per Maruti Suzuki/NEXA standards.
Conduct or coordinate quality checks before vehicles are delivered.
Minimize repeat repairs, rework and unnecessary delays.
Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding job status, additional repairs and vehicle delivery.




Monitor technician productivity, efficiency and workshop bay utilization.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
Maintain workshop discipline, safety, cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
Report technical issues, delays and operational concerns to the Service Manager.

Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Relevant experience in automobile workshop operations.
Valuable technical knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
Solid leadership, troubleshooting and team-coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery timelines.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
