Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and reliable South Indian Cook to join our hotel team in Manali. The candidate should have positive hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian breakfast and other South Indian dishes, while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare authentic South Indian breakfast items such as Idli, Dosa, Vada, Sambar, Chutneys, Upma, Pongal, Uttapam, etc.
Prepare South Indian meals and other menu items as required.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
Manage daily kitchen preparation, ingredients, and basic inventory.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Minimise food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.




Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.

Requirements
Prior experience as a South Indian Cook/Chef, preferably in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or café.
Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
Ability to independently manage South Indian breakfast preparation.
Positive understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
Hardworking, punctual, and reliable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
