The CAD Manager will be responsible for managing the complete CAD, pattern making, grading and marker planning activities for knit garments, ensuring accuracy of patterns and timely availability for sampling and bulk production. The role will coordinate closely with Merchandising, Sampling, Fabric, Cutting, Production and Quality teams to ensure buyer specifications, fit comments, shrinkage requirements and production requirements are correctly incorporated.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, review and approve patterns, grading and markers for sampling and bulk production.
Ensure correct application of fabric shrinkage, width, GSM, stretch and other knit fabric characteristics while preparing patterns and markers.
Optimize marker efficiency and fabric utilization to achieve minimum consumption and wastage.
Calculate and monitor fabric consumption and analyse variance between costing consumption, CAD consumption and actual cutting consumption.




Ensure all buyer/sample corrections are incorporated and only the latest approved pattern/marker is released for production.
Coordinate with Sampling and Cutting teams for timely release of patterns and markers and resolve CAD-related production issues.
Monitor and minimize re-cuts, measurement issues and fabric losses arising from pattern, grading or marker errors.
Manage the CAD team, allocate work based on production priorities and maintain proper style-wise CAD records and version controls.
Continuously work towards improving pattern accuracy, marker efficiency, fabric savings and overall CAD department productivity.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
