Eligibility & Experience
MBBS with MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or equivalent qualification
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Cardiac Anaesthesia
Experience in providing anaesthesia for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
Experience in peri-operative and post-operative management of cardiac surgical patients
Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anaesthesia services for cardiac and cardiothoracic surgical procedures
Conduct pre-operative assessment and optimization of patients
Manage intra-operative anaesthesia and haemodynamic monitoring
Provide peri-operative care for high-risk cardiac patients
Participate in post-operative management of patients in the cardiac/critical care setting
Coordinate closely with CTVS surgeons, cardiologists, intensivists and other multidisciplinary teams
Participate in emergency and on-call services
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient-safety standards and hospital policies across all Critical Care Units
