A new agency, the Aga Khan Agency for the Habitat (AKAH), works to ensure that people live in physical settings that are as protected as possible from the effects of natural disasters, that residents who do live in such high risk areas are able to cope with disasters in terms of preparedness and response, and that these settings provide access to social and financial services that lead to greater opportunities and a better quality of life.

Job Scope:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Manager- Communications and Knowledge Management, passionate about climate change and sustainability. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing the research focused communication and media plan of AKAH India to optimize the impact of its various programs. An essential part of the role is the management of regular communications to stakeholders, involving strategic development and management of communications. . The position is responsible for all aspects of digital and traditional communication channels,



ensuring the successful outcomes of the organisation are communicated effectively. Strategic coordination of the creative direction for brand, media, digital communications, and publications will support the organisations growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create an overall communication strategy for the organization in consultation with the senior management.
- Plan, edit and create all communication related content under supervision of the Reporting Manager.
- Take lead in revamping the design and content of the company website. Maintain and update the same regularly.
- Manage the organization’s social media presence.
- Responsible for designing a comprehensive social media strategy for all our handles. Create relevant and engaging content regularly.
- Create monthly newsletter and annual report.
- Create films, videos, and case studies with support from respective departments.
