The Chance:

Group Emerging Technology, Innovation and Ventures (ETIV) team is seeking a visionary and hands-on engineering lead to join us to lead a team of engineers to design and develop agent framework. This is a critical role to enable business and function lines across the bank to accelerate the delivery of agentic AI use cases in a safe and consistent manner.



This role is responsible for the end-to-end development, delivery, and evolution of scalable and reliable Agent Framework, which will be the backbone of all agentic applications across the bank.

In this role, you will:

• Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap for the Agent Framework in collaboration with product management team
• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of a robust, scalable, and high-performance Agent Framework.
• Stay at the cutting edge of AI and agent movement in the industry, and adapt the agent framework to leverage the technical evolving in the industry
• Work closely with technology teams across business lines to understand their requirements and ensure the framework empowers them to build agents efficiently.
• Integrate agent framework into our Group AI Platform which spans on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure
• Build and manage a high-performing global team of ML SMEs and full stack
