We are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead a departmental engineering organization. In this role, you will lead a distributed team of 40–80+ engineers across multiple teams, managing both Engineering Managers and Senior Staff/Principal ICs.

Operating at a department-level scope, you will partner closely with your Triad peers (Product Management and Product Design) and cross-functional partners to set multi-year technical and organizational strategy, deliver complex multi-quarter OKRs, and ensure operational excellence across high-scale distributed systems.

• Strategic & Triad Leadership: Partner with Product, Design, and program leaders to define the vision, strategic roadmap,



and funded execution plans for your department.

• Organizational Design & Scale: Build, structure, and evolve high-performing engineering teams; recruit, mentor, and coach Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders.

• Delivery & OKR Ownership: Drive accountability for significant company-level and department-level OKRs, balancing feature delivery, technical debt, platform stability, and enterprise scale.

• Technical Stewardship & Architecture: Guide long-term architectural decisions, reliability, and security standards across multiple services and systems in a up-to-date cloud environment.

• Cross-Organizational Influence: Navigate high-level cross-team dependencies, driving alignment across platform, product, and infrastructure organizations to find win/win trade-offs.
