Role Summary
Responsible for supervising sheet-metal fabrication processes and ensuring the dimensional, welding, and overall quality of transformer tanks and fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise cutting, shearing, bending, rolling, drilling, welding, grinding, and fit-up operations.
- Ensure fabrication as per drawings, specifications, and process requirements.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of transformer tanks/components.
- Check dimensions, alignment, flatness, welding quality, and surface finish.
- Identify and control defects, rejection, and rework.
- Maintain inspection and quality records.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, PPC, and Quality teams.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure 5S, safety, SOP,



and quality compliance.

Qualification & Skills

- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Fabrication, Quality, or related field.
- 4–9 years of experience in transformer manufacturing, sheet-metal, or heavy fabrication.
- Good knowledge of welding, fabrication drawings, dimensional inspection, and quality control.
- Experience in transformer tank fabrication and quality inspection preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
